Kiwi Wifi is a device which allows you to wirelessly connect to your vehicle's onboard computer via your iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad. It is compatible with most 1996* and later vehicles and installs in seconds. Connection is made through your vehicle's onboard diagnostic port (OBDII - all vehicles have this port, usually located around the drivers footwell).
When connected to an iPhone / iTouch / iPad or any other compatible device with compatible software, you will see in real time any available engine data and have the ability to check and cancel engine warning lights (This can cost £35 + at a dealer each time). Other functionality when using an iPhone includes GPS and acceleromitor information.
Connecting to your iPhone / iPod Touch is made by 802.11a/b/g connection in adHoc mode. It is compatible with apps such as Rev, FuzzyCar and DashCommand now available from the app store.

Using FUZZYCar, you can see all of the diagnostic sensors your car supports right on your iPhone, including Speed, RPMs, Oxygen Sensor data, and the status of your Check Engine Light. FUZZYCar can also diagnose the exact Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) every time your check engine light comes on, and can even clear your check engine light immediately. Each copy of FUZZYCar also gives you a free account on fuzzyluke.com. Now you can keep track of multiple cars, and analyze all of your cars historical diagnostic data. You don't just get a one-time snapshot or spreadsheet, you get to keep track of it all using the FUZZYLUKE analysis engine. PLX Logger 3.0 for PC

PLX Logger 3.0 is free to download, however to use PLX Logger 3.0 with Kiwi Wifi, you'll need to purchase a license. What's nice about PLX Logger 3.0 is that it is compatible with the iPhone/iPod Touch app called DashCommand. Logged data from DashCommand can be downloaded into PLX Logger 3.0 for further detail review.

Kiwi Wifi is used to obtain OBDII data, however if additional sensors are required such as wideband air/fuel ratio, fluid temperature, you can daisy-chain up to 32 PLX Sensor Modules and read it simultaneously with PLX Logger 3.0. This brings the best of both worlds of OBDII interface and high performance dedicated sensors into one application.
