Car Wi-Fi

Our 3G Car Wi-Fi router kit includes professionally selected products to allow you to share one 3G data connection with multiple wireless devices such as iPhones, iPads, Smart Phones and laptops. The 3G Mi-Fi router is unlocked to any network and requires a data sim card and when connected to one of our high gain antennas will give you a superior internet connection when on the move or in areas of poor reception.

The in car Wi-Fi is specially designed to handle tower transfers at high speeds, this is necessary as a car is traveling down a motorway. Typical mobile phones and smart phones may not be designed to do that because the access is usually done from a stationary position. The Wi-Fi dongle can handle the switching, keeping a consistent connection without dropping the signal. As the router can be connected to the cars battery via the supplied USB cable you will find your mobile/tablets will not drain their battery’s quite as fast as they are connected via Wi-Fi and access the internet as if at home or work.

The perfect solution to give seamless car audio integration of internet radio or streaming apps such as Spotify and Pandora when combining with a Grom Audio interface and your smart phone.

Note: High speed internet access will be available whenever the vehicle is within a 3G area (as most major cities and motorways in the UK are). If no signal is present then unfortunately this kit will not allow you to connect, the kit will only improve reception when available.
